Bio |

Trevor H. Smith is an artist and freelance writer.

Currently studying MA Fine Art at UWE, Bristol, where the work has focused on the connections between language, place, and identity. Recent developments have led to spoken word emerging as the dominant outcome, though in 2018 Trevor walked the 268-mile long Pennine Way National Trail as the research element of a new body of work: Horizons Are Important.

‘Trevor writes in a unique and accessible style, which enriches the understanding and appreciation of art for a range of audiences and consistently demonstrates that he can respond creatively to a brief and meet deadlines.’
– Testomonial from Hand in Glove, 2017

Based in Bath, Trevor has written for numerous national and South West-based publications and was selected for the 2017-18 a-n Artists Information Company Writer Development Programme.
