The Unsolicited Artist Residency Programme is a series of self-directed residencies, carried out without permission, as a means of gaining artist in residence experience and generating new work.

Unsolicited Artist Residency 3: The Pennine Way
Duration: July 25 – August 11, 2018.
Programme: 17 days hiking along the UK’s oldest National Trail, The Pennine Way, a 268 mile footpath from Edale in the Peak District to Kirk Yetholm in the Scottish borders.

Unsolicited Artist Residency 2: Lightbox in my living room
Duration: January 1 – December 31, 2017.
Programme: A new piece of text-based art for every day of 2017.

Unsolicited Artist Residency 1: Colonna and Smalls Coffee Shop, Bath, UK.
Duration: July 1 – 31, 2016.
Programme: A month of visits to the shop, drinking coffee, watching, making notes. Figuring out what makes a residency.
